The 2026 Taipei International Computer Show, COMPUTEX 2026, has once again become a major focus of the global technology industry.

This year, the most highly anticipated topic undoubtedly came from the keynote speech delivered by NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang.

As one of the most influential figures in the global AI industry, Jensen Huang introduced an important concept during this year’s event:

“The data centers of the future will no longer merely store data; they will become factories that produce intelligence — AI Factories.”

This means that the global technology industry is moving from the traditional cloud computing era into the AI Factory era.

What Is an AI Factory?

In the past, data centers were mainly responsible for:

• Website operations
• Cloud storage
• Enterprise systems

In the future, data centers will be responsible for:

• Training large language models, or LLMs
• Agentic AI
• AI inference
• Digital twins
• Humanoid robot computing

The core product of an AI Factory is not data, but intelligence.

NVIDIA believes that the most important resource for enterprises in the future will no longer be oil, but computing power.

Vera Rubin Platform Becomes the Focus

At this year’s COMPUTEX, NVIDIA presented its next-generation Vera Rubin AI platform on a large scale.

Vera Rubin integrates:

• Vera CPU
• Rubin GPU
• NVLink Fusion
• Spectrum-X Networking
• AI Factory Architecture

Together, these technologies form a complete AI infrastructure solution.

According to NVIDIA’s roadmap, Vera Rubin is expected to become a core computing platform for future large-scale AI data centers.

Taiwan’s Supply Chain Continues to Gain Strategic Importance

During his keynote speech, Jensen Huang specifically expressed his appreciation to NVIDIA’s supply chain partners in Taiwan.

From semiconductor manufacturing and server assembly to liquid cooling systems and high-speed networking equipment, Taiwanese companies have become an indispensable part of the global AI industry.

As AI Factories continue to expand, Taiwan’s strategic position within the global AI ecosystem is expected to become even more important.

CACC Perspective

CACC believes that over the next five years, the industries with the strongest growth potential will include:

• AI Factory
• Data Center
• GPU Infrastructure
• Digital Asset Infrastructure
• Cross-Border Investment

For companies planning to enter the ASEAN market, how to combine AI development with cross-border investment strategy will become an important business challenge.

CACC will continue to monitor global AI industry trends and assist enterprises with investment, factory establishment, data center projects, and related legal and business planning in the ASEAN market.
